SokK Lethe is one of the most exciting discovery I made browsing Bandcamp's Black Metal selection. It's difficult to describe their music without using bullshit adjectives like "Ambiant" / "Post Black Metal" / "Depressing Black Metal"... The truth is just that Lethe sounds truely unique. If you love the most progressive works of Manes, Blueneck, Ulver and other really creative black metal bands, you'll definitely love Lethe. Favorite track: Night.

Mike Lamb Lethe do it again...but so much better, this album is absolutely beautiful. It revisits all of the atmospheres that made me love Manes coupled with Anna Murphy's unique voice. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Snow.
Andersmensch

Andersmensch The first thing which attracted my attention was the album titel, because this single phrase starts a whole story in your head.
So I started listening and was amazed because this album melted a lot of genres together without any troubles. Projects like this tend to be unclear because the genre mixing is too much or not well done, but not with Lethe.
The space floating atmosphere is stunning plus this two singers and voices hamonise so well with each other. Favorite track: Night.

about

A charming duo formed by the visionary Tor-Helge
Skei and the hugely talented Anna Murphy, LETHE is a band
that will change your way of thinking about music and how it
should be made and listened to.
“The First Corpse On The Moon” is an astonishing and unique
musical experience into the most Avantgardish Metal / Trip-Hop
/ Electro / Pop / Experimental Art!
Defined by many like a journey through the 'back alleys of the
human mind/psyche', they reach the apex with this new album
that is more structured than the debut album but surely
brilliant like only a moment of pure genius could be.
Close your eyes, open your mind, and let the music take you on
a musical journey through different moods
